Back in the Swing

Hey everyone,

So it has been a while.  Over 4 months, if memory serves me right.  Many of you who read this may know this, but this period of absence has been pretty much since God blessed my family with a little boy, born just a few days before Christmas last year.  While we have been giving lots of thanks to God for this great little gift, his new presence has made itself felt in many ways, not the least of which is in the extra time we have needed to transition to being a family of four.  That is, for the most part, the reason for my absence.

Now that things are slowly returning to the new normal in our household, I do plan to pick up with regular blogging again.  My goal will be to offer my usual "thinking out loud", and as always, if you like, feel free to express your thoughts and comments.  I have appreciated them, even if I don't always respond in the comments.  I do plan to be more active there in the future, however. 

Giving thanks to God for His gift of a son to my family, even as we give thanks for the gift of His Son!
